This was done for my astronomy class at UC Berkeley im taking this summer. I pointed the camera at the North Star (Polaris) which is in the Big Dipper and left it to expose for 30 minutes. You can witness the rotation of the Earth in this picture making the stars look they are moving in circles around the north star.

pretty cool, huh?

Science: Boring when it's being done, but once it's finished, the most interesting thing in the world. I know you didn't make this effect, our very tipsy planet did, but I'm still impressed.
